It is surprisingly demoralising to see how very dull my thoughts are in print. Who would have thought? Not me, clearly, thinking I can base a whole blog around my brain. Ha!
Never mind. Self-pity is even more dull. I shall move on.
From now on I will source my material elsewhere. I will ruthlessly exploit my children and my surroundings and bore you all witless with titbits and anecdotes. I will also have to inform more people that I have returned to blogging, in the hopes that a bit of pressure will shame my brain into performing at at least a mediocre level.
I will also ban the subjects of puppies and cushions. (Please note that my dog is no longer a puppy and any anecdotes relating to her can be exploited at will.)
PS: I have in fact bought new cushions. The end.
